Dr Farzana Jahan
PhD Student
Queensland University of Technology
Passionate about Statistics research and teaching. I have developed noble insights into Bayesian statistical models for analysing spatial data in my PhD. I am a very early career researchers, just completed my PhD in August, 2021 in Statistics from QUT. Currently I am working as a postdoctoral Research fellow at QUT Centre for Data Sciecne and also have got 50% teaching responsibility for the school of Matehmatical Sceicnes. I got recognised as an Associate Fellow at Higher Education Academy, UK in 2019. I also have a teaching experience of 3.5 years in a University of Bangladesh before I started PhD here at QUT and ACEMS. I would like to continue my research works and would also try to contribute to Statistics teaching and learning.
Research Interests:
