His current work involves policy optimization and optimality criteria in reinforcement learning
Before joining the University of Queensland as a PhD student,
he studied control in the Electrical Engineering Department, University of Indonesia,
and computational intelligence in the School of Computing, Tokyo Institute of Technology.
