Harshanie is a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics, University of Ruhuna in Sri Lanka, She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Ruhuna Sri Lanka in 2013 with a first class honours degree. She has obtained a M.Sc. in Financial Mathematics form University of Colombo Sri Lanka. She completed her PhD studies at QUT in year 2021. Her PhD thesis is concerned with bias reduction techniques in predictive regression modeling.
